The Bassa Bati Mpoo community lost a great leader with the passing of Jerome Minlend in June 2021 after a short illness.
As General President of Mbog Liaa, the worldwide network of Bassa Mpoo Bati associations, he was a tireless promoter of the Bassa Bati Mpoo culture and traditions and facilitated the emergence of the Bassa Bati Mpoo art and artists on the national and world stages.
We will forever treasure the moments spent with him, be grateful of his exceptional leadership at the service of our community and be inspired by his vision.
We are committed to upholding the values that he embodied: unity of the community, tolerance, humility, brotherhood, celebration of our culture and traditions.
We thank all who joined us to celebrate his life throughout the USA, Canada and back home in Cameroon.
