For a thriving and more equitable Grand Sanaga region
The power of working together
Dear friends, In 2021 Mbai Bassa Community contributed to the renovation of two schools in Cameroon. This included two buildings, 10 classrooms and the construction of new desks for about 180 students. That is 180 students and their teachers who now work in a safer and cleaner learning environment. The social impact is real. It would have not been possible especially the 1st year of our operation, without your support and our partnership with our sister organization Ndap I Maten of Arizona. We are continuing our collaboration in 2022. We are teaming up to renovate a building at Bonepoupa vocational middle school in Cameroon. That will allow 50% of the students of the school to study without being exposed to the elements of the nature or share their space with animals. Working together allows us to accomplish more, faster and in a more sustainable way. In this issue of our Bisai Newsletter, we want to celebrate the power of working together. In addition to our project update, you will read about stories of people working together to make a difference. We hope these examples will inspire you as they have inspired us. . The Covid 19 pandemic is becoming manageable. We have the opportunity to deepen our engagement with our local communities in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. One powerful way of working together is through our ambassador programs. Our ambassadors are dedicated individuals who share our vision and actively help make it a reality within their networks, churches, schools, corporations and other institutions. If you want to know more or join us, contact us.
We still needs your help for our "1 desk per month for 2 students through AmazonSmile" initiative. This is at no cost to you. Simply setup Mbai Bassa Community as your AmazonSmile preferred charity and spread the word in your network.
We are grateful of your continued support. Visit our website to learn more about our programs and the many opportunities we offer to contribute in a way that is meaningful to you.
